With everything going on in the world right now, we wanted to dispel some of the fear while also providing practical tips to staying healthy while planning your wedding! Both of us are nurses, and we are passionate about keeping you and your guests as healthy as possible. As photographers and videographers, we can’t even begin to imagine the stress you must be feeling as you plan your wedding during this time. We want to be as supportive as we can for you and your other half!
So, here is some information about what wedding photography and videography will look like during the outbreak!
What Will Wedding Photography and Videography Look When You Hire Us?
We are still booking weddings while keeping an eye on the status of the outbreak. As of right now, we aren’t cancelling our weddings unless there is a travel ban, you feel the need to cancel, or one of us gets sick!
We aren’t just your wedding photographers or videographers: we care about keeping you and your guests safe. Our priority is making sure you stay healthy. We are offering more grace with our rescheduling policies to relieve any stress you may feel about rescheduling your wedding! As long as we have the date available, we will reschedule your wedding for free.
If you decide to postpone or cancel your wedding for this year, we will refund you 50% of the non-refundable retainer fee you paid at the time of hiring us.
What Are We Doing to Stay Healthy?
It’s important we do everything we can to stop the outbreak. We invite you to do the same as you approach your wedding or elopement to protect those you love! This includes quarantining when possible, wearing masks in public, and practicing good hand washing.
We will only be traveling for essential reasons, as long as there is no travel ban.
If we feel sick (i.e. cough, shortness of breath, fever), we will seek the necessary medical attention. We will get in touch with you and let you know.
While working with you at your wedding or during a photoshoot, we will maintain the recommended 6-feet distance. We can social distance and still get those sweet shots by using zoom lenses.
We won’t have any in person meetings before your wedding or event! Instead, we can use video call or chat over the phone to make sure we still get all the deets.
Even though we LOVE becoming friends with all of our couples, we won’t hug or have physical contact with you.
What Can You Do?
Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and warm water. If you are out or can’t use soap and water, use at least 60% alcohol content hand sanitizer.
Social distance yourself from other people. Avoid large crowds or going out as much as possible.
Disinfect the surfaces in your house often by using household cleaners on counters, sinks, door handles, and phones. Think about this: if you or anyone else has touched a surface, it is best just to wipe it down.
Contact your health care provider as soon as possible if you start to feel sick. If you are sick, avoid going out or seeing others.
