It’s always such a joy when we get to capture the wedding of friends, and this beautiful day with G + D at the Neighborhood Church in Palos Verdes was no exception! From the historical church to the stunning coastal views as the backdrop, this day was marked by laughter, sweet heartfelt moments, and deep connections.

G+D always joke that they are a Covid-era-dating-app success story, but no two people could be more meant for each other than G+D! We’ve had the joy of walking along side them the last few years, and we were so excited to see them take their relationship to the next level. Our absolute favorite part for the day was their first look which was held in a quiet courtyard surrounded by the lush gardens of the church with the coastal cliffs in the background and the sound of the waves all around us. It was a beautiful, quiet, intimate moment that we will never forget and are so honored to be a part of. As D, filled with nervous excitement, turned around to see G the world seemed to pause. Capturing their laughter and the way they held each other in that intimate space was like bottling pure joy and excitement!

The ceremony itself was timeless and elegant, with the sunlight streaming through the stained-glass windows and the pews filled with all of their loved ones. Afterward, we had the joy of stealing the newlyweds away for some quiet moments by the cliffs and around the gardens. The natural beauty of Palos Verdes was breathtaking, perfectly complementing the love between them. They were so at ease, sharing candid smiles and whispers that made for some of the most genuine photos we’ve ever taken.

As the party continued into the evening, we were surprised by their perfectly choreographed first dance at their reception. It was clear they’d spent hours perfecting every move, and cheers came from everyone watching. This wedding was more than just a celebration; it was a testament to a couple whose connection is deep and enduring. To be a part of their day, preserving those moments forever, was a privilege we’ll always treasure. We left G+D’s wedding with full hearts and the promise of memories that will last a lifetime.
