One of the best parts of our job is being there for friends during their most special, life-changing moments. When J told us he’d be proposing to S, we were thrilled—and even more so when he asked us to capture it. Josiah flew out to Virginia Beach to photograph what turned out to be one of the sweetest proposals we've ever witnessed! With S’s sisters setting up a cozy beach picnic, Josiah camouflaged himself on the quiet beach, ready for the magic to unfold. The scene was perfect: an intimate, sunlit proposal on a nearly empty beach, just for the two of them.
The next day, Josiah joined S & J in downtown Norfolk to capture their engagement photos. We love being a third-and-fourth-wheel on your date, and planning an adventure that’s uniquely “you” makes the experience all the more memorable. Whether it’s a coffee date or exploring favorite spots, doing something you both love together keeps the session relaxed and fun. It’s moments like these that make the photos so genuine—and make our job an absolute joy.
